    Welcome to 'The Gallery!' One visit and we know you will agree that The Gallery is a perfect getaway for a couple's or friends' retreat. 'A destination unto itself' as one of our guests best summarizes. Park your vehicle and take a short stroll to fabulous restaurants, shopping, art galleries, museums, dance clubs, pubs, cafes, day spas, historic tours, Screen Gem Film studio tours, live theater, and other local attractions -it's all within walking distance (some destinations even on the same block as The Gallery)! Or better yet, sit back, relax, and enjoy the Trolley or the Historic Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride Tour - it's just a half-block down Market Street.

    The Gallery is located at 112 Market Street in the heart of Wilmington's beautiful and nostalgic riverfront Historic District half a block from the riverfront!

    'The Gallery' is a fabulous, designer decorated, two-story 'Manhattan style loft' condo. Beautiful exposed brick walls can be found in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom; all refinished hardwood floors; new contemporary Scandinavian furniture/furnishings; an expansive collection of modern art displayed in every room; and wonderful color throughout! 'Lots of style and energy' as one of our guests describes.

    The second floor bedroom is beautifully decorated and has a very comfortable, queen-size bed, full-size dresser w/mirror, Sony radio/alarm clock. The luxurious living room leather sofa has a queen-size pullout. Fine linens are provided for both the queen bed and queen-size sleeper. The Gallery is very well equipped with the vacation and business traveler in mind (FREE high speed WIFI with password). See our 'amenities' section below for a full description of all that The Gallery has to offer.

    Spend the day at Wrightsville Beach (just 9 miles away) or Bald Head Island and return to 'The Gallery' to explore the southern charm of historic Wilmington in the evening. And remember, everything is within walking distance if it's a late night! We will be more than happy to make some restaurant, cafe, sight-seeing, etc. recommendations, just let us know - we definitely have some favorites that we would love to introduce you to!!!

    So, come and enjoy what The Gallery and historic Wilmington have to offer, and 'live like a local!'

Fun little place

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the gallery. It's super cute and is located close to everything. I never used my car! Highly recommend for a small group (3 or less) who wants to be in the middle of it all!

Great long term stay

I stayed at the Gallery for 5 weeks and it was perfect. Everything was clean and nice, the kitchen was just the right size. The location can’t be beat and the Peking garage is very convenient across the street. Liz was communicative and easy to contact. Would recommend!

Great location, totally unique condo

The Gallery is located right in the historic district, convenient to restaurants and the river walk. We're VRBO veterans and this is by far, the most unique place we've ever stayed! The condo is located in a historic building dating back to the early 1900s. Despite the age of the building, the condo has every modern convenience. Check in was seamless and everything was provided for your comfort. We will definitely stay there again next time we're in Wilmington!

The Gallery

Our stay was great! The bed was comfy and the apartment was very cute, a little bigger than I thought it would be. The location was amazing. The only thing is, if you are someone who likes it cool when you sleep, I would suggest bringing a fan since the cooling system can only go down to a certain temperature. The beach chairs were a huge plus and we appreciated that so much. Thank you! We would stay again.

Gem of an Apartment in Downtown Wilmington

The apartment was exactly as described, and very clean and comfortable. The artwork was amazing and the colors were very upbeat. Kitchen was outfitted with everything needed if cooking. Lots of books and DVDs which were great for downtime after a day of sightseeing. Very walkable to restaurants and pubs, and a short drive to the beaches. Would definitely recommend!

The Gallery is the most wicked awesome place I've ever stayed. I just left and spent my 21st birthday weekend with some girl friends. It is the perfect location and decorated equisitely. I just love The Gallery, it is my new home away from home. You guys supplied everything and my girls and I never wanted for anything. You did an excellent job on the decor. Dear Liz, We enjoyed our stay in "The Galery". Very comfortable, very clean, decorated with taste / You guys have it all!/. Short /very, very short/ walk to the river and all the attractions. Food - everyone should try the "Carolina bucket" in Elijah's /2 Ann street is the address/. You look for perfect service and friendly people - you'll find them in Wilmington. My son and I just returned from a fantastic stay at the Gallery. It was my son's first visit to the Wilmington area, and my second stay at the Gallery. He absolutely loved the Gallery! He thought the location was convenient to everything, was fascinated by the decor, and enjoyed using the TV, DVD collection, and X-Box games. As with our previous visit, the Gallery was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We actually got to use the beach chairs this time and enjoyed some beautiful weather at Wrightsville beach. We look forward to staying at the Gallery again and actually planned this trip around the Gallery's availability as we liked it so much last time. Thank you again for another wonderful stay.

The Gallery is the greatest place. Our daughter was getting married in Wilmington and with us being out of state I wanted a CLEAN, NICE and COZY place for us to spend the last couple of days alone with our daughter. It was absolutely perfect! I could not get over how clean it was, how it was actually equipped with anything you could ever need, I felt as if I were at home. My daughter, husband and I were able walk to everything downtown and enjoy the sites, while we set up last minute things for the wedding. I have never sent in a comment on a place that we have stayed (we have traveled a lot) but this one deserves the comment. I will recommend The Gallery to everyone I know for a great get a away. All I can say is thank you for the wonderful memory at "The Gallery" ! Jack and Sabrina Crumpton
