Our home is situated outside the town, surrounded by greens and forest. The friendly neighbors will welcome you in the community if you want to connect. All amenities are close by, to get around the use of a car/bike is recommended. In Middleton, Kingston, and Greenwood you can find recreational facilities, parks, museums, restaurants, cafes, and more.
Within minutes you can reach the `Bay of Fundy` or drive along the `Lighthouse Route`. Sandy beaches can also be found along the shore.
This home is in the heart of the Annapolis Valley with many Tourist attractions as well as quiet hiking options.
We are located approx. 1.5 hours west of the Halifax International Airport & approx. 1 hour east of Digby (whale watching, Ferry to New Brunswick, etc.) and 2 hours east of Yarmouth.
Things to be mindful of while staying with us.
1.) We ask you to please remove your outdoor footwear upon entering the home.
2.) No parties or events are to be held unless allowed in writing by the host.
3.) You will be staying in a quiet neighborhood and we ask you to also keep it that way. Excessive noise after the hours of 10 pm will not be tolerated.
4.) No additional guests are permitted to stay unless they are listed in the boooking.
5.) PARKING: Please use the designated two parking spots on the gravel area directly in front of the home. Make sure to NEVER block the main driveway as it is shared with other residents.
6.) ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOME!
7.) Please make sure all appliances are off and washer/dryer are not in use while the house is vacant.
8.) Please respect the Check-in, Check-out times.
9.) Take extra care of keys ( Lost keys incur a replacement fee of $20 )
10.) Rearranging of furniture is not recommended. If needed, please return them to their origin.
11.) Keeping the place tidy and doing dishes before departure is a welcomed practice.
12.) ABSOLUTELY NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES are allowed on our premises.
13.) When using the BBQ, please keep a distance from the house. Never leave it unattended and make sure to shut off the propane after use.
