We were attending a family wedding locally. We booked the hotel nearly 12 months in advance. We heard it was a lovely place and we were not to be disapointed. Very freindly helpful and cheerful staff all around the hotel. Only regret was not being able to try the fish and chips with a few beers - next time for sure!!

Äldre hotell som troligen behöver en renovering i närtid. Ligger centralt vid torget i ett litet fantastiskt samhälle.

The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Wimborne making many attractions and places of interest in the town easily accessible on foot. The hotel’s free car park is a plus but one has to be careful to take the right road to reach the car park because most roads in the town centre are one way streets. The hotel breakfast was excellent.

The staff at the King’s Head were all friendly and knowledgeable. Zoe went out of her way to help when my husband had an accident and her first aid skills were much appreciated. The oscillating fan in our room helped us cope with the excessive heat. Designated disabled parking was an added bonus. A room with a shower cubicle would have been an advantage but none in the hotel.

My mother stayed in a room last night, I parked for a while but was told it must be a short stay, but I was rudely told ‘if you don’t move your vehicle soon I will have to fine you’ my mother has stayed in the hotel many times & use to be a regular .
