“Typical motel room. Adequate but nothing special.”

“The team at Charlton Motel were very accomodating with a very late check-in everything was organised for my arrival. The motel is pet friendly for a small additional fee which is fantastic. My little poodle had a great time. Rooms are neat, clean, well presented and comfortable. A great stop over on a long trip or a great base to explore the local area.”

The ‘pelmet structure’ for the fluorescent lighting was a little problematic when sitting up as overhangs Queen bed & you could bang your head! For a single night it is fine but owners need to remodel the rooms if they are anything like the one we stayed in? Wifi was ok but not strong. The TV was good with streaming channels. “Older style motel, but has been well refurbished, clean, everything worked, good shower and bathroom. Pleasant owner. Excellent lighting for reading etc. There is some traffic noise at night, but close the bathroom door and window, it’s fine. Second stay there for me, value for money. Motel owners should consider spreading the guests over the building, when not full up, not lumping them all together for what I assume is ease of cleaning.”
