“Luann was the sweetest host and so responsive through the process. We had such a wonderful time. The house was clean and inviting. We felt like we were staying at a friend or family members home. The kids loved it too and said they didn’t want to leave the house. Luann was sweet to leave fish food for them so they could feed the fish in the pond. The yard was so charming and great for play as well. I could write so much more, but I highly recommend staying here and the lake was so incredibly……

“We have stayed at many short-term rentals and The Misty Pond stands out as one of the most impressive! The grounds are breathtaking and beautifully well-maintained. “This is located on Lake Lanier, but the water is VERY low at this property so my pontoon was almost hitting bottom to get to the dock. The Beds in each bedroom are ok, but very basic... No Water Glasses in Kitchen only a few coffee cup... ? The yard is very poor & dangerous to walk down to the dock. We had to be VERY careful & not maintained at all for this pricing. Dead bug right at the front door was not welcoming... We only rented it for 1 night & still had fun, but this is VERY overpriced &……

“This place is amazing. Loved everything about it. Owner is responsive and very helpful. We had two teens, a toddler under 3 and then 5 adults. Our toddler slept in a pack n play in the walk in master closet. Plenty of room, worked perfectly. I would recommend a wagon or 2 to tote stuff down to the dock. It’s not far, but there is a steep hill (that is paved) as you walk back. Dock is very shady underneath and the ladder makes it easy to get out of the water. We will definitely rent again. ”

“Our 1st time on Lake Lanier and this home was ideal for all of our needs to maximize our stay. The views are amazing and everyone enjoyed swimming from the dock. We rented a pontoon boat and being able to tie up at the dock was a huge plus for convenience. Beautiful home with hardwood floors and everything we needed to accommodate our group of 15. The owners are terrific, quickly responding to all our questions. I can highly recommend this home and the folks who own it. Thanks for helping us……

“We had a fantastic stay at this property! Everything was great—from the clean and well-maintained house to the excellent communication with the host. We were a group of six, and the home offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable.The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, with friendly neighbors and even some surprise visits from local wildlife—we spotted deer, a chipmunk, and a variety of birds, which was a treat!The location was also perfect.
