“This was the lerfect little escape for a nice quiet Valentines Day without kids and distractions. Took advanyltage of the local farms and shops for some snacks while we were there. The rental has everything you could need and more. The decor and live plants were a nice touch. We were plesantly suprised at how perfect this worked out for us. We had beautiful views of the property covered in snow and will definitely be back in the spring or fall to take advantage of walking all the trails.”

“Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. Coming from Texas, we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome to Connecticut.Carol's 1860 home is nicely furnished and spotless. Crisp bed linens and oversized……

“We were a group of moms who snuck away for the night and this cabin was the perfect retreat. Well stocked and very cozy on a winter night. We had to leave very early the next morning to beat a snowstorm and the very long driveway was already sanded and we felt very safe.
