The large balcony opens onto the forest. Inside, wood, warm lighting and furniture made by a local carpenter create a Scandinavian-inspired Sauerland style. At around 50 m², Golfhof 16 is set up for up to four guests.

The separate bedroom has a queen-size bed. Additional guests sleep in the living room on a fold-down bed with an Emma mattress. Because the living room also becomes a bedroom in the evening, part of the space does double duty. Books, including children's books, are available.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, a filter coffee option, kettle and toaster. You eat together at the folding dining table made by the carpenter. The living room and bedroom each have a TV with Netflix access; free Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth speaker are also available.

The bathroom has a bathtub with shower. To shower you step into the tub; there is no separate walk-in shower. The toilet is in its own room.

In the residential complex you can use the shared indoor pool free of charge. The sauna is coin-operated and costs €2 per 30 minutes. Pool and sauna are open daily 8 am–12:30 pm and 3–7:30 pm; please also check current notices.

Check-in is self check-in by code. Check-out is by 10 am. Before your arrival we send you the access details and a short video about the apartment. Children are welcome; the apartment is not fully childproofed.

The apartment is entirely yours for your stay. The indoor pool (free) and sauna (€2 / 30 min, coins) belong to the residential complex and are shared with other guests. In the basement there is a shared ski room you can use for skis or bikes — please also secure them with your own lock. Free parking right at the building.

The golf course is right next door. Within walking distance: the Landal park restaurant, the ski area with "Möppis Hütte", ski rental, ski school and ski lifts. Winterberg town centre is about 2 km away — on foot via a path through the ski area or 5 minutes by car. Hiking and mountain biking start right outside the door; the bike park has suitable trails nearby.

Arriving by car is recommended — free parking right at the building. Winterberg station is 5 minutes away by taxi; arriving by public transport is doable (guests have done it several times).
