“Beautiful property and super helpful front desk team! Great communication leading up to the stay, and friendly welcome. Pantry well stocked (fresh cookies!), and comfortable lounge area. Perfect location for museum, restaurants, shops, and sights. Room was clean and comfortable!”

“The Courier staff was so welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect and had everything we needed. We stayed in the bunk bed Suite which had the bunk bed in a safe! It was a lot of fun. The location was great for getting around town.”

“This hotel was a great gem in the middle of downtown Salem. We enjoyed being able to walk to almost every point of interest. The room was spacious and chic. The shower was a bit small and parking was horrendous. The hotel host a lot of events so that contributed to the abundance of people in the area but we eventually got a spot toward the evening. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.”

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”

“I woke up in the middle of the night with about 100 ants next to my bed. But I can’t even tell the staff until 9 AM because there’s no staff at night. When I did finally get to the staff they only gave me one option, which is to stay in an ice cave themed room. Which does not sound appealing and let me tell you do not run that room. It is terrible. I wasn’t able to get athey only gave me one option, which is to stay in an ice cave themed room. Which does not sound appealing and let me tell you……

“This is a charming inn with two different old houses. It’s well located and has a fabulous breakfast that’s included. Two things I would say for house we were in. One, there is no indoor sitting area. Our room, while quite large, had only a small love seat and the common area was not decorated to accommodate sitting. So having indoor drinks before dinner wasn’t really a good option. There is a very nice patio for outdoor relaxing. The bigger issue was the ice maker. It is LOUD and it went off……

“Have stayed here twice. Very convenient to the college, easy check-in. Both times we were here, there was a blizzard, but the host helped dig our car out and kept the property clean and passable. Would stay again. ”
