「Room was clean, staff was great」

「The property and rooms were historic and charming. Our room was very private and spacious. Breakfasts were prepared with care and were delicious, with the same offerings each day. The proprietors were very helpful and kind.」

「Our stay was wonderful. Views from our room were beautiful. Breakfast selections were numerous and very enjoyable.」

「Smoke detector missing off of the wall, had living bug on sheet when I pulled the bed open. Smelled extremely musty and had black mold in the bathroom. Cigarette stains on tub and sink. Dripping stains down the walls. Water stains on the ceilings. Burn holes through blankets on the bed. No trashcan in bathroom. Owners said they just acquired the property a few months ago so hopefully they will turn the place around.」

「Staff was pleasant but don’t plan to eat there. Seems very short-staffed & not prepared to host meals. The property is beautiful but hot water is warm only so attempting a bath on a chilly night wasn’t a positive experience. Hope the new owners are able to tighten things up & be able to offer what you would expect for an above-average price per night in that area.」

「This was one of the best stays we have ever had. A truly phenomenal place.」

「Beautiful resort, friendly staff, excellent restaurant.」

「The arrangement of handicapped bathroom especially its door was cumbersome also there was only one sink outside the toilet/shower area and it was a very small closed in area. There were many helpful rails to help maneuver into the tub and toilet.」
