Family Get a way

Loved the pool, beds were comfortable, overall nice.In our opinion the carpet needs renewing and all the aircon vents need to be cleaned.Also please renew the pool umbrella not confortable sitting near the pool without a bit of shade.

Good but a little tired

The property was big enough for the 5 of us. It was as the pictures described but a bit dated and tired. Skirting board falling off, cupboard door would not close stuff like that. Beds were comfortable. Towels did not seem clean and washed properly, there was make up on the washer I got. There was no tea, only a few coffees. We had to wash and dry and put away all of the dishes, take the rubbish out and sweep or we lost some of our bond. Not exactly what I wanted to do after attending a wedding the night before. Didn’t use the pool.

Not value for money

I would have to say we were quite disappointed at the cleanliness of 16 darley street, Shellharbour. We did not use the balcony off the main upstairs bedroom (rubbish left by last tenants and large amount of bird poop) balcony from upstairs kitchen and the bbq area (numerous amount of bottle caps and general rubbish) as all were in inhabitable state for use by ourselves or our grandchildren. There was a vape in the driveway when we arrived, men's underwear in larger downstairs bedroom, used towel in wardrobe of upstairs bedroom, food on upstairs mat, BBQ had not been totally cleaned, dirty BBQ utensils left and unemptied bin in kitchen. All three sulo bins were full to brim and we were unable to access an empty red lidded bin until two days after we arrived. Yellow lidded bin still not emptied, as of tonight, and all our recycling has been left in the garage as we were uncertain what was to be done! The general state of the floor was putrid. We had to wear shoes inside, as our feet were black after walking inside. My two grandchildren's 3 years and 9 months old, clothing would be dirty after sitting and playing on floor. We paid over 7000 for 6 nights and the quality was nowhere to the standards it should have been.

Review

House was fine but we didn’t like plastic wine glasses and only 4 and one of those was broken. No corkscrew and absolute minimum of kitchen items. Most cupboards bare. Guests need to know what to bring.

Absolutely stunning location and property. My family had a lovely trip away for the weekend. The property was amazing and it was close to the beach and shops. Very accomodating host.
