Apartment 6 is surrounded by large glass sliding doors facing the Coral Sea which seems to suck the gold sand, azure water and swaying palms right into your senses. As you enter this apartment heading up the stairwell you are received by this and much, much more. The main bedroom with corner bath ensuite is on one end of this lengthy apartment with doors opening onto beachside verandah to capture the cooling sea breezes from the Coral Sea. The open plan kitchen, living and dining open up through bi-folds to the front wrap around verandah and to the large rear verandah which is perfect for those sunny afternoon refreshers. At the opposite end of the apartment are another two bedrooms and second bathroom offering two queen beds and a single bed between them. Beaches 6 offers amazing views to the beach extending to the Coral Sea and Dunk Island. Beaches Apartments are located approximately 2km from Woolworths Shopping Village with cafe's, bottle shop and pharmacy and also close to Mission Beach Resort. Just 10 minutes drive north of Wongaling is the village centre of Mission Beach which offers a great range of cafe's, restaurants bars, fresh fruit and vegetable store, mini mart, specialty stores and gallery. It offers a large range of the exclusive and sought after absolute beachfront accommodation on Reid Road and Koda Street. Beachfront properties are also available on Banfield Parade being across the road from the beach. The small shopping village at Wongaling Beach (easy to identify thanks to the Big Cassowary sculpture) has a gym, cafe and hair salon. There is a drive in bottle shop at Mission Beach Resort. Adjacent to this complex is Woolworths which has the Bendigo Bank a smaller Bottle shop, pharmacy and cafe. The supermarket is closed on Sundays. You can also find the service station – open 7 days - at Woolworths complex. ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are situated within Woolworths. Dining out in Wongaling Beach – Mission Beach Resort offers bistro style dining, Spicy Thai Hut offers fab Thai food and there is the Italian, Cafe Rustica. Wongaling also offers a great kids playground, skate park, basketball half court and 'Splash'N'Dunk' water play park, this is all situated in the beachfront parkland at Rotary Park. Just a short 5-10 minute drive will take you to the village centre of Mission Beach with a great range of café’s bars and specialty shops. The Mini Mart and Leny’s fruit and vegetable store are open on Sundays when Woolworths is closed. The first and third Sunday of each month there a markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. The Mission Beach Monster Markets are held on the last Sunday of each month from Easter Sunday until November. These are located at Ulysses park at Mission Beach. It is recommended to have a car when staying at Wongaling Beach. Another option available is hiring a push bike. This is a great way to get out and about Mission Beach. Riding along the beach is a real treat.
