Charming Coastal Retreat

We have lived in this beautiful rural location for many years, enjoying Suffolk and all it has to offer from Aldeburgh, Orford, Snape, Southwold, Walberswick and our heritage coast. Our farmhouse is steeped in character from the 16th Century with the barn being recently renovated. We have a beautiful garden and private parking. Downstairs is open planned with a piano and separate dinning room and laundry room. With wonderful french windows looking out over the garden. Upstairs has two large bedrooms one with option to have a super king bed OR two single beds and the other room has a king size bed, and a family bathroom. There is a children,'s playground in the village, a new pub. The station is five minutes walk from the barn, which goes to London, Cambridge and Nowrich Ipswich and more. There are many wonderful walks, we are also close to Rendlesham Forest where they have wonderful bike rides (and a bike hire place) a great kids area and a pick-nick area. We are twenty minutes from Minsmere which is wonderful for bird watching as well. I am afraid due to the fact that we are a thatched cottage we have a no smoking and no BBQ policy.
