Delightful country barn conversion

Clean and warm, with friendly hosts, the perfect getaway. Thank you for what was our perfect relaxing break. Very dog friendly. Situated in lovely peaceful countryside, with loads of attractions within easy reach. Fred and Ferne.

Away from it all.

All perfect and relaxing. Quiet rural setting that allowed us to visit all the Suffolk places we wanted to go. We walked miles through forests, across cliff tops, along country lanes and the sun was shining every day. All wonderful.

Idyllic location

We stayed for a week with our two dogs in the Paddock Barn. It was perfect, in fact the only downside was that there were other guests staying directly above us in the Owls Nest so we were really worried about our dogs barking and disturbing their stay. Our spaniels loved the walks around the field which was full of wildflowers and wildlife, and there are some amazing dog friendly beaches and pubs in the area. The accommodation itself was perfect for what we wanted and Clare was really easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Ideal quiet location with country walks on doorstep. Nice biscuits for arrival with lovely fluffy towels and house facilities needed for our stay. Warm welcome from owner on arrival.With warm evening, I took the opportunity to sit out on patio. The property is a maisonette so some noise from above. But this did not affect our stay. Excellent location for Southwold, Aldeburgh, Framlingham and Woodbridge. Ideal property for our two small dogs. I recommend property if you after are somewhere secluded.

Incredible and idyllic

Clare and Chris are lovely hosts, and Paddock Barn is a beautiful property. The surroundings are fantastic; driving around we saw muntjac, barn owls, buzzards, and other deer. The Barn is really cosy and homely, and we miss it already! Everything is immaculate, and we were provided with loads of useful information. Having an EV charger on the property was an absolute lifesaver for us. We had such a great time here, and it was a really magical stay.

Lovely barn

This was a great base for our few days in Suffolk. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Very sensitive smoke alarm in the kitchen, though! Hubby is a firefighter and thought a heat alarm might be more appropriate due to the low ceiling height. Clare was great with communication and was there to welcome us even though we arrived late due to a flat tyre!

A great few days away

Claire and Chris are very welcoming people, not in your face but happy to have a chat. The property is set in 17 acres of land up a private drive. The accommodation is a good size, clean and fresh. Good value for money and a great place to relax. Thank you

Excellent property for a short break

Property was in a lovely location and had everything that we required for our stay. Beds were comfortable and the shower facilities were also excellent. WiFi connection was perfect. The only negative comment was that someone was above the property (top floor) and we were able to hear them a lot walking around especially at night and early morning.

Rural retreat with home comforts

Lovely clean and spacious apartment with everything we needed. It's tranquil setting and beautiful surroundings created a special and unique experience. The location is ideal for exploring the coast, the local attractions and Ipswich. The only slight issue was that we weren't aware that there was an upstairs guest apartment, which was intrusive at times. The cake on arrival was a lovely touch and the hosts were helpful, when required.

A rural retreat

Peace and quiet in this forgotten part of rural Suffolk. Great hosts in this well appointed barn conversion. You really do need a Sat Nav to find the property but that is part of its charm.

Paddock Barn short stay

Very comfortable ,clean property in pleasant,quiet,rural location. Ideally placed for visiting Sutton Hoo ,Aldeburgh and other places of interest. Would recommend.

Beautiful rural location

Perfect place to stay in the countryside yet not too far away from the coast and other places of interest such as Southwold, Aldebrough and Framingham. The weather wasn’t too kind to us so it was lovely to come back to warm and comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. Will definitely be returning!

Lovely property in a glorious location

Lovely, spacious property. Location is perfect if you like the quiet countryside. Great to wake up to the sounds of birds and horses. Ample parking. Safe footpath around property for dog/children walking. Clean, crisp bed linen, well equipped (although a little tired) kitchen. Clare was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely stay in a beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay very much. Instructions made it easy to find, and the surroundings were beautiful. The extra touches of a small Christmas tree and chocolate coins for the children were much appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Away from it all !

A beautiful converted barn in a really out of the way location, satnav essential, but owner's directions got us there ! (Satnav loaned for the rest of our stay) The morning 'parade' of cats, dogs and ponies to be fed was a delight, Chris and Claire were excellant hosts, unobtrusive but always there when needed. Accommodation was luxurious, by our standards, everything we needed was waiting for us on arrival. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing break.

Lovely spacious apartment for a quiet break

Paddock Barn is a lovely spacious , comfortable apartment ideal for a family or couples break in the heart of Suffolk Everything you could possibly need is on hand , like a home from home Clare and Chris are on hand to help with any issues This is a great place to stay and is a short driving distance from Southwold , Woodbridge, Framlingham Castle , Aldburgh and Orfordness
