Wool Bay is situated on the Eastern side of Yorke Peninsula, a comfortable 2 1/2 hrs drive from Adelaide (nestled between Stansbury & Edithburgh).

Out & About

The sandy bay features a permanently moored pontoon - popular with swimmers, sun shelters to enjoy lazy days on the beach, jetty, boat ramp and public toilets.
Snorkel, walk or fossick at low tide in the tidal pools around the coves.
Drop a line at the jetty for squid.
Have a hit of golf at the 9 hole course.
Cycle or walk the nearby coastal leisure trails.
Pack lunch and take a scenic drive. Allow plenty of time as there are many beautiful beaches, bays and scenery along the way.
Wattle Point Windfarm near Edithburgh is well worth a look.
Edithburgh tidal pool is great for toddlers.
Boaties and anglers are well catered for with jetties and boat ramps at nearby Stansbury & Edithburgh.
Browse and grab a bargain at the outdoor Stansbury Foreshore Markets (seasonal).
Dine out at one of the many cafes, hotels and takeaway outlets dotted around the peninsula.
The Western side of the peninsula can be reached in under half an hour.

Another lovely stay in this spotlessly clean, bright roomy home. Everything that you would need is here in a very well equipped kitchen. Easy travelling into Minlaton for our Family History search. We will be back hopefully. Jo is a great host and communication was excellent.

Very impressed with the property, clean, modern and everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you bring kids there are games for them. If internet is your thing, its a bit hit & miss. Would definitely recommend & stay again

Superb quiet location a stone's throw from Wool Bay Jetty... quality fixtures, fittings throughout.....extremely comfortable living and 2 and outdoor areas.....everything provided ....wonderful native plant garden and lots of bird life. I give this property 5 stars...we will visit again soon.

We had a lovely time here. It was very neat, tidy, clean & had everything we could want or need. Also in a quiet street so we could catch up on plenty of zzs (just the thing for 2 business owners & their extremely busy teenager needing a break from everyday life!) Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Jo.

Very clean, neat and spacious holiday home. We had no problems at all. Wonderful amenities and nice to have the central heating on autumn nights. A great place for squidding - we caught many off the jetty. If you are looking for more of a beach stay (sand for young kids etc) this is probably not it.

Spacious comfortable and well presented home. Lots of thoughtful inclusions - board games,dvds and outdoor swings for children, extra fridge for the fisherman and even some toys for your pet dog. Quiet location not far from the beach.

The house was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The extra toilet was wonder. Fantastic that the house had heaps of games and DVD's for the kids to watch and play. They ever put their electronics down to play UNO when we weren't out and about :-) would stay there again anytime!!

We stayed in this property in Wool Bay in March 2024 when travelling around South Australia. The property was perfect for our needs. Spacious, clean and everything you need for a lovely stay. The grounds are large - excellent if you have young/teenage children. Plenty of room for them to run around. Wool Bay itself does not have any shops or restaurants but this did not bother us. There is plenty of fridge and cupboard space for all your food and Edithburgh is a short drive for shopping and a meal at the local pub. The perfect base for exploring the Yorke Peninsula.

We had a really nice time. The house met all of our needs, bbq, play equipment, yard for my dog and enough room to park 3 cars and trailers. Would definitely recommend staying. Phone signal in the house was at zero but really that didn't effect our stay at all. Owners were very quick to respond to our messages and made it possible to stay an extra night at the last minute. Thanks guys
