With three lounges and kitchens, six bedrooms and four bathrooms, there’s plenty of space for everyone to spread out and take a break. The ground floor features a comfortable open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with a wood burner and doors onto one of the two patios. There are also three bedrooms, including an en-suite king-size, a super-king-size zip-and-link, and a single with an additional pull-out single bed, plus a bathroom. The first and second floors each offer a lounge/diner and kitchen. The first floor also has a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom, and a bathroom, while the second floor includes a super-king-size bedroom and a bathroom. The terraced hillside gardens and a large main patio are perfect for admiring the stunning coastal scenery.

From the house, the shops, eateries, museum, and 13th-century church of Mortehoe are all within half a mile. See the Atlantic grey seals basking on the rocks at Morte Point (200 metres) or take an easy drive to Rockham Bay (0.5 miles) to find a peaceful, secluded beach. Spend the day at the 3-mile-long sweep of sand at Woolacombe (2 miles) or visit the picturesque harbour town of Ilfracombe and explore the famous Tunnels Beaches (6 miles). Further afield but still just a short drive away, the largest town in North Devon, Barnstaple (14 miles), offers a range of independent stores, a historic pannier market, and the ruins of a 12th-century castle.
