Another Perfect Stay at Woolacombe

Return visit to this lovely apartment. The new owners have continued with the high standards of the previous owner Jenny. Immaculately clean throughout, everything you need for a perfect stay, including some treats. This spacious apartment is very comfortable and a home from home. Great location, parking and views. We will definitely be back soon, thank you to everyone, the cleaner, the hosts and ‘My Favourite Cottages’ for a seamless stay.

Fantastic Stay

We had a lovely week at Devon Beach Court. The apartment had everything we needed for our family of four. Very convenient for the beach and town. Would suggest bringing a wagon or similar for pulling your beach gear up the hill as it's quite a steep walk.

Lovely apartment

We were very happy with our apartment. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. Communications with Jenny were brilliant. She gave us lots of information and even warned us about a possible road closure.It was very nice to have tea, milk, sugar, biscuits and a bottle of cava waiting for us.

Great Holiday

Devon Beach Court was an ideal place to stay as it is on the Esplanade right in front of the sea. The accommodation was just right and had everything we needed. Jenny provided milk, tea, sugar, biscuits and a delicious bottle of fizz for our arrival, as well as some lovely roses. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The veranda at the front of the apartments provided a lovely setting for taking in the sunshine and watching the beautiful sunsets.

Great holiday let.

Very attentive housekeeper. Kept us well informed. Pity lift was not working, so you needed to be mobile. Could have had more chairs on common area. Otherwise excellent location.

Outstanding!

This is quite honestly the best-equipped, cleanest, best-designed, best-located holiday apartment or house that I have stayed in. An allocated parking space was a real bonus and to find tea, sugar, milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine on arrival was just brilliant . After a day walking the South-Coast path or paddling to Putsborough, there’s even a lift for tired legs! I had such a happy week by the sea - the weather was on my side, but there is always plenty to do and see, especially if the wind and waves are right for surfing. Thank you all so much.

Excellent location for a comfortable relaxing break

Excellent location for a couple (or couple plus one or two young children in small bunk bedroom) for a comfortable relaxing break. Easy to walk to the fabulous beaches. The private parking space is useful. Note - The terrace shown in the photo is communal and down two levels from the flat. Limited views from the flat windows. Flat has very small balcony on the side of the building. Flat is very clean, tidy and well equipped. Large main bedroom with en-suite shower. Good sized living/ dining/ kitchen area. Plus main bathroom. Housekeeper very helpful at providing any extra information, if needed.

Perfect Stay in Woolacombe

We arrived at Devon Beach Court and found the parking easily, the location is great for a short walk into Woolacombe or a nip to the beaches or for provisions at the local Londis. We received excellent communication not only from the owner Jenny, but also by numerous emails from Favourite Cottages explaining the arrival procedure and the great parking place. The accommodation is a perfect home from home. The Flat was immaculate and this was a credit to both Jenny and Beth who went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. We received a free bottle of Fizz in the fridge and also ample towels, tea bags, biscuits, milk, cloths, absolutely Fantastic. We have visited Woolacombe for many years and always stay in similar accommodation, however we can honestly say this is the cleanest flat we have ever stayed in, recently decorated and absolutely immaculate.The bedding was lovely and the bed had a new mattress with topper and was very comfortable, we slept like logs. The water is instantly hot and the ensuite shower and separate bathroom very easy to use. The location is perfect as you have the use of a communal balcony opposite Barricane beach but also a view from your own personal side balcony. We did make use of the local excellent Woolacombe Bay Pizza Company, easy to walk to or to get a delivery and also the Beachcomber Cafe for breakfast. Bar Electric was great for evening meals and a leisurely drink with views of the sea. The Snack Shack near the Red Barn does lovely icecreams and coffee. We would like to thank Jenny and Beth for making our stay absolutely perfect and we would recommend this flat to anyone, we will definitely be staying again, it was a brilliant relaxing stay, Thank you.

Lovely apartment location

First time in an apartment and we was surprised how quiet it was. It was spacious, clean and in a brilliant location for us. There was a few stairs but if you were carrying luggage there was a lift. Jenny our house keeper was one of the best we have had. She rang us while we were traveling home to warn us of a motor way closure and again to see how we were doing. We will be back.

A very nice apartment in a great location. Good value with the discount on the June booking.

We were very happy with our stay a Devon Beach Court. It is a very pleasant and clean apartment with all the amenities that one could reasonably expect. The arrangements for gaining admission on arrival were clearly explained in advance and worked well. Excellent attention to detail from the housekeeper Jenny and some nice touches like a welcoming bottle of wine. The only slight downside was a little disturbance from the construction work taking place at a nearby property in Rockfield Road. This is causing the parking area to become either muddy or dusty depending on the weather, which also makes the parking space numbers difficult to read.

No 8 Devon Beach Court, Woolacombe

We stayed at No 8 Beach Court for one week during the May Half Term school holidays, this was our first time visiting Woolacombe and not sure what to expect. We were blown away by how beautiful the scenery was and the beaches were amazing. Our apartment was across the road from the sea and we were able to watch the sunset and listen to the waves crashing on the shore from our terrace. We were made to feel really welcome and at home by the owner Jenny, who by the way had ensured that the apartment was spotless and she had equipped it with everything that you could possibly need and more.

Perfect location for Barricane and Combesgate beaches

This apartment is wonderful and we will look to stay here if we visit Woolacombe again. It is spacious, warm, clean and well-equipped. It is less than 10 minutes walk into Woolacombe but more importantly it is over the road from Barricane beach which has a delicious Sri Lankan curry kiosk on the beach (start queuing early) and just a few minutes from Combesgate beach, which is our favourite - expanses of sand and plenty of rock pools to discover. Just don't get caught out at high tide! The owners and housekeeper provide an amazing service - highly recommended.

Very Cosy, Welcoming Apartment

Very good location for the beach/village centre with good heating. Plus Points: Very clean and warm. Spacious Living Room and Main Bedroom Well Maintained with well considered Welcome Pack Well equipped kitchen Very good communication and directions and customer service Negative Points: No dishwasher (apart from Husband) View only from Balcony so no view from interior No shower over bath, only in en suite On the whole a very likeable holiday apartment, extremely clean and warm. We would recommend to anyone. Price reflects the very minor shortcomings listed above and we had a lovely stay, complete with festive decorations, and the lovely touch of a bottle of wine. Many thanks to Jenny for the little details which lift the whole experience.

Perfect

The property in Woolacombe was perfect. It was spotlessly clean and every thing you could possibly need, even down to toothpaste, for the perfect stay. Jenny the house keeper texted to say the apartment was ready early and access was as easy as the info sent said it would be. It was ideally situated overlooking the beach yet close to town centre. Jenny and her team, if she has one, did a great job of keeping the apartment in 100% top class condition.

Wonderful apartment for every need!

This apartment was great. It was spacious, the master bedroom was big with an en suite too. It was clean and tidy throughout and had everything you needed & more. Toys & books provided for little ones. Small balcony but nice view of sea. Main balcony very big. Communications between house keeper & myself made it easy and smooth from the start of booking. Will definitely stay again very happy!!

Great Location

A perfect place

The apartment was just as described. Everything we needed was there for us, even checking the bedding for my allergy. To have the car off the road, and still be on the front is a winning combination. Many places say fridge freezer but mean fridge & ice box, but this was equal sized so if you want to shop & eat in it's perfect. So many places to go around, fabulous beaches if you want to stay close and so big you are not on top of each other as you settle down for the sun. It's on our list to return too.

Great week in Woolcombe

Bright, very clean apartment which had everything we needed. The kids loved the bunk beds and we had a great stay. Plenty to do in and around Woolacombe and I would recommend for young families. Thanks to Jenny for returning my daughters misplaced slippers also, a very welcome touch.
