4 Bed in Wooler (oc-196438)

  • Homildon Cottage is a beautiful traditional stone property dating back to the early 1800s, set in the peaceful hamlet of Humbleton near Wooler. Tucked into a quiet hollow on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, it offers character, comfort and an idyllic setting for families, friends and dogs alike.

A bridleway leads directly from the door into the National Park and onto the famous St Cuthbert’s Way, while the spacious rear garden looks out across historic Humbleton Hill. This is a place where wildlife is all around and, after dark, the skies come alive, part of a designated Dark Sky Park, where the only light comes from the moon and stars. Despite the tranquil location, Wooler’s shops, pubs and restaurants are just over a mile away, giving you the best of both worlds.
