「A true gem. This is my new go-to place for the first (and second) night in Cape Town. Most international flights arrive in the early morning and commercial downtown hotels do not let you check in before 3 pm. Most of us are exhausted. So make your way to Franschhoek against traffic and stop at some wineries on the way. Then rest at La Fontaine. Many fine restaurants within 0.5 miles. Lovely breakfast and exceptional service.」

「I had a truely amazing time at Cap Vue. I was made to feel very welcome during my 4 night stay. The rooms are very comfortable, each with a private patio. I felt very secure. I spent several evenings by the log burning stove relaxing in the shared areas which felt like an extension of my room. I really felt at home here. And the grounds (including the vines) are beautiful for a stroke with a coffee post-breakfast. The wifi is adequate for video calls (I had around 10-20 Mb/s). My days were spent...
