「Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards.
On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves.
The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. This is a hygiene issue that should not be present in a paid short-term let.

「The house was splendid, spacious and tidy, but the bath needs better cleaning of mould. Also, it would be nice to include atleast a wardrobe or 2 in the house. Finally, the garden needs trimming. With this adjustment, it will be a 10/10」

「Avoid this place.
It is a room. Not an apartment.
Rubbish piled up in the front and rear gardens.
There are rats.
Bathroom is shared, and is tiny, cannot swing a cat in it, but at least a cat would help with the rats.
Kitchen is below bare minimum. 2 cups, 3 plates.
Walls are thin, doors don’t work properly, but eventually lock with enough strength. The feel of the property is like it once housed squatters, and it feels like they will be back soon.
Was due to stay for 2 nights, I didn’t/...

「I booked this property for a last minute stay which meant the booking platforms were not able to confirm everything immediately with the host. It would probably be best to book at least two nights in advance due to this. The host was understanding however, and we managed to sort things after contacting the booking platform’s customer line.
Other than that, the property itself was lovely and exactly as advertised; it’s a home away from home, perfect for a family or group vacation. There are two...
