Bed was very comfortable, clean and staff very helpful and friendly. On a small negative, I prefer to park in front of my room and there was no provision to do that. Location to my destination was great and I thank the staff for making my stay pleasurable.

No inside locks in room! Someone with a key I presume staff just unlocked the door and tried to come in while we were in there ! Pretty disturbing! No knocking just came in. Other than this ok.

Even the name, Yumba Motor Inn has that magic in it. Magic of yesterday days, the honest no more than $179.01 per night during peak season kind of places. One with the swimming pool right at the front of the property so who ever is passing by can see its guests are special. So special, just like me last night. I would say 1976-ish drive in motel with car parks outside each room and interior with then fashionable brown bricks, (once) white walls and some Greek aqua painted around wall frame and windows. Would you believe there is a tv and you could call it a plasma tv and also all other 3 star goodies are in here. Must say for some reason I was sent back to nostalgic visit to Canada in the same 1976 year. What a vintage!! I am not sure if the amazing power of the most comfortable shower in my room reminded me of a visit to see Niagara Waterfalls or the crisp air con over my head that was making me use comfy doona, or was it grunting pipes telling me people in a neighbouring room had a long day and now getting ready for a sleep. Anyway I loved those waterfalls in late 70’s and I enjoyed the YMI (Yumba Motor Inn- how cool, I can see this place rebranded by some trendy city slicker) Did I forgot to mention lovely lady waiting for me to arrive late to check me in? And she was not grumpy like I would be in the same circumstances and I have even received real milk for my evening cuppa! I hope her hubby made some supper for her as she was arriving home latter then usual, or maybe

The motel was on the way into town. I was greeted nicely by the lady on the reception desk. The room was clean and spacious. The kitchen had a big refrigerator and a very good microwave. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery. The bathroom was small, but the bath products and fresh towels everyday were great. The bed was comfortable. Nice aircon and a ceiling fan. A big TV. The place was quiet. Daily room servicing was terrific! Nice pool with pool furniture and shade. Parking at the room’s door. It’s close to shops and restaurants with the car. I would definitely stay here again. I stayed five nights. Great value for money!

Some of the furnishings and microwave very worn and lowered the tone of the entire room. Otherwise a good size room and comfortable bed. Located out of the town centre but we had a car so no issue. Pool looked very nice. Didnt feel it was good value at $178 for a night.
