Nice hotel close to airport
Used the hotel for a rest between travels - 4 hours. Good breakfast and big room with effective air con. No lift so a few stairs. Very helpful staff.

Decent hotel to stay, friendly staff
The staff are very friendly, it's very close (15 mins ride) to the bus station where most buses to other cities depart. The room was big and clean, it's a decent place for the price. As there wasn't a lift in the building, the staff helped us carry our bags to the 5th floor. Those with heavy luggages might want to get rooms on the lower floors.

Nice and helpful staff
Our flight landed at midnight and we had no problem checking in. The room was big and had a great view over the city. You can easily go to city center via the local train, which is an interesting ride by itself with the locals and gives a feel of the city. The staff was incredibly helpful and spoke good English.

Surpassed expectations
Apart from the fact we have to climb up 3 flights of stairs to our rooms, my friend and I enjoyed our hotel stay. Rooms are clean. Food served in the little cafe is tasty. Staff are attentive and friendly. Owner's daughter (this is a family-owned hotel) who attended to us a couple of times is gracious and accommodating. We will be back!

Great hotel
Great stay at High Five, got welcomed with open arms, damp towels to mop our brows from a whole day of travel and orange juice to get us set for bed! Staff were all very friendly, room was very good with hot shower and English channels on the tv! Breakfast was very good, all you can eat so definitely get your money's worth! Would recommend!

Good service and good food
We spend 2 nights at this small privatly owned hotel. It is a 10 minutes drive by taxi to the airport or the central busstation. We arrived late by bus, spend one day in Yangon downtown, and had an early fligth the next morning. We could easily find the circulair train to town, because one of the staff guided us to the station. Everything was well organized; they had arranged a taxi at 3:50 so we arrived well on time at the airport. They provide excellent meals for guests only, and a breakfast buffet. On request they make a real continental breakfast. Rooms are spacious, if you wish you can have the meal at your room. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Our stay was ok. The check in staff was great. The check out staff was rude. The young woman working was upset when I came down for breakfast 20 minutes before the end time, because we had a really late flight in the night before. She acted annoyed that she would have to ensure there was still food available. The room was worn, but clean. It had a very strong smell of smoke. Water in the shower was cold. Nice for a quick night stay after a long flight.

Dear Sara, Thank you for your valuable feedback about our hotel. We sincerely apologise for any inconvience caused during your stay at our hotel. We have taken a prompt action to the staff who served you rudely for the breakfast. She explained that she was worried whether there was enough food for you and was angry at the chef for not making extra food. Although she had no intention to be rude to you, we admit that she should not have acted like that way in front of the customers which was very unprofessional. We accept that it is our lack of provision in training her, hence, we gave more training to her and other staffs to avoid the similar situation happen again. After reading your review, we are now refurnishing our rooms, trying to get rid of smells, making sure the water heaters are working. Again, we deeply apologise for any unpleasant experience due to our service. We hope you could give us another chance to serve you better in the future. ドミトリールームに滞在しました。部屋がゆったりしてたのと、スタッフの方がとてもフレンドリーで気持ちよく滞在できました。空港もバスターミナルも比較的近いです。空港送迎は早朝だったにも関わらずとても応対の良いタクシーを手配してもらえました。(注)ドミトリールームのエアコンは19時から7時までです。

We would like to clarify a few things: 1) We are an airport hotel which is near the airport but far from the city center. 2) As you booked a bed in a shared dormitory room, you do not have a privacy like other private rooms. There are sun block curtains in each and every room. However we do not have bed curtains for bunks. 3) Sorry about the free bottle of water. We will plan to provide it soon. Thanks for your suggestion.

Decent hotel for early flights
The hotel is close to the airport, which was what we were looking for but wouldn't necessarily recommend due to the pack of dogs that bark through the night and the hard pillows that didn't allow me to sleep well. If you are a hard sleeper, you'll probably be okay. The bed was comfortable and large, the staff was helpful, wifi was good, and overall a decent hotel.

Some people like soft pillows while others like hard pillows. It is very difficult for us to put it right for everyone. We are sorry about that. Great to see Myanmar before it changes.
I was happy to be away from the city centre and feeling part of a community, especially in the hotel. Owner and staff really friendly. Couldn't do enough to help me. I would definitely stay there again. Myanmar accomodation expensive compared to other Asian countries like Cambodia and Vietnam for the same quality, but the friendship is far better.

Nous finissions un circuit avec un groupe organisé que nous laissions à l'aéroport de Yangon. Notre objectif était de passer une simple nuit pas trop chère pas loin de l'aéroport car nous nous levions tôt le lendemain matin pour une extension en Thailande. La navette était gratuite et nous aurions dû la demander à l'avance car les chauffeurs de taxi ne comprennent pas trop. Excellent accueil, navette le matin à 6 h. Nous avions une "salle de bain partagée" : là, c'était le strict minimum !

ホテルから近く、空港からはタクシー４０００チャット（これ以上下げてくれませんでした）。 スタッフのおねえさん（オーナーの娘さんかな）が大変聡明で愛想が良く英語が流暢な方で、安心感がありました。このサイズのホテルにはもったいないような感じの方です。 フロントに「３０００チャットで空港に送ってくれるタクシーを」とお願いすると、時間通りきっちり手配してくださいました。

翌日のバガンフライトに備え空港近くで検索し宿泊。写真の印象より老朽していました。シャワーの湯量や各種設備等日本のビジネスホテルと比較してはいけません。 日本で言うゲストハウスの上を想像して行くと良いかもしれません。 タオルが黒ずみ臭かったことが一番残念でしたが、高額な料金を支払いリゾートホテルに宿泊している訳でもなく、ここは東南アジアなんだしと思えば何てことありません。 18:50着便でヤンゴンに到着しホテルへ向かったのですが、予想以上の渋滞でした。 ホテル近くまでの数キロ？を40分かかりました。 最後は歩いた方が早いと思い途中でタクシーを降りました。 最終日のダウンタウンから空港までのタクシーの方が早かったくらいです。 大通りに面していなく場所がわかりにくいものの、付近で遊んでいた子供達に尋ねると案内してくれました。 ホテル周囲は暗く、電灯もない暗闇の中で屋台が営業していました。 数は少ないものの、歩いてすぐの大通り沿いに飲食店とコンビニあり。 スタッフは素っ気ない感じがしますが、懇切丁寧にしつこく対応しチップ待ちをするような面倒くささがなく良いです。 翌日のフライトに備え寝るだけと思えば可もなく不可もなくでした。

国内線で昼前にヤンゴンに到着し、同日深夜の国際線に乗り継ぐ日程で、小さな子供連れのため休憩目的で利用しました。空港からは渋滞がなければタクシーで10分ほどで着きます。部屋は清潔でシャワーのお湯の出もよかったです。wifiも問題なく使えました。周辺にはスーパーとコンビニがあり、お菓子やビールを買うことができます。すぐ近くにあるラッキーセブンという地元でも評判のティーショップは、ミルクティ、モヒンガーなどの麺類、インド風カレー、中華ちまきが安くておいしいのでおすすめです。

スタッフの笑顔が良かった。チェックインの時に共同シャワーと知らされ驚いた。しかし5ドルでシャワー付きの部屋に変更してくれた。トランジットで最短の滞在ならいいと思います。

Positives: Nice hotel decor, clean room, attentive staff, and good, reasonably priced breakfast. Best? Close to airport. Negatives: Neighborhood is not for sightseeing, and far from downtown. Although it is a cheap taxi ride to hub of activity. No elevator for suitcases, but staff will help. Good experience!

Nice short stay
Enjoyed our short stay here by airport. Staffers very friendly. I accidentally left my iPhone in room at checkout and they brought it to me as taxi arrived. I was so impressed by their honesty and integrity. For breakfast, try the fried rice with egg, amazing!

Just a hotel near the airport
Just stayed here because we had an early morning flight and didn't want to suffer through the awful Yangon traffic. Room was on 5th floor with no elevator which we knew when we booked (but why build a hotel with no elevator?). Staff helped us lug our bags upstairs which was nice. Room was big but had an awkward layout. TV was almost another room away and on the far right wall. Can't watch it from bed but they don't provide sitting chairs either. Didn't matter though as there were no English channels. I think they might have bug bombed the place right before our arrival as there was a powerful smell and my friend couldnt stop coughing and the room left a chemically taste in my mouth so we had to leave for a while to let the smell disappate d air clear. Aside from that this room was much more new and cleaner than other hotels weve stayed at in Yangon. Location is close to airport but nothing else - not a very interesting area. They tried to make us hand in our key to the front desk when we left but we refused. Why give us a key at all? A few power outages which is normal.

Good hotel near airport
This hotel was fine. It is very conveniently located near the airport, and it is not too long of a cab ride to downtown. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There is a great restaurant, Lucky Seven Tea Shop, near the hotel.

Cheap and cheerful very close to airport
As we were arriving late into Yangon and had an early flight next morning to Bagan we wanted a cheep and cheerful hotel close to the airport. High Five is 10-15 minutes drive from the airport, very good value, nice food selection and hotel staff had good English. Staff were very proactive at organising wake up call and taxi etc.

Haben das Hotel wegen seiner Nähe zum Flughafen ausgewählt, denn wir hatten am nächsten Morgen einen Anschlussflug..In dieser Funktion ist es auch zu empfehlen. Ansonsten ist es kein Schmuckstück.
