I’ve stayed there few times. Good Hotel, I like & Staff are great, but needs some improvements: 1- Shuttle request online doesn’t work (better call way before)- they forgot me at the airport once, when I called they said it’s too late :-(. 2-I guess there’s no backup generator. Last time, none of elevators worked due to low current voltage said the front desk- tha night I had to take the stairs to the 8th floor, good jogging :D

The staff were courteous, proactive and very helpful. The quality and standard of the hotel room and other facilities were very high. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. I also had the opportunity to use the restaurant, bar and gym where i experienced a very high quality of service. I enjoyed the buffet and the breakfast at the restaurant. It is qorth mentioning that the airport shuttle is very handy, makes your arrival and departure experience smooth. The botel also has good views of the city of Yaounde, i will always go back and recommend anyone visiting to make United their first choice.

We chose the United Hotel in Yaoudé because it is very well situated, right next to the city council square and a few steps away from the Yaoundé Tennis Club where we had an event. Since there are government buildings around the whole area is very safe, it's even possible to walk about 7 minutes to the large Carrefour Playce supermarket nearby, I never felt unsafe. The hotel is brand new, very good air conditioning, amazingly good internet during our whole stay, and good warm water. The staff was very helpful, especially Huber who organized for us during our free day a trip to the Mefou Primate Sanctuary to see gorillas and to do a pagoda ride on a river, that was great. It's possible to change money at the hotel at a good rate. The prices were quite reasonable and so we recommend this hotel highly.
