Mysigt område, lugnt och ostört, de som jobbade där var otroligt hjälpsamma och trevligt, det är promenadavstånd till alla sevärdheter. Mycket nöjd!

As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed. The place is quaint, not modern, but very clean. Breakfast was great, as much as we wanted. The location was close to the old town, which is where we wanted to be. We would stay here again!

St. Mary’s Guest House was everything we needed for our 5-night stay in York. My friend and I stayed in a twin room, which was clean and perfectly comfortable, albeit nothing fancy. Breakfast was great and the staff were just lovely. We enjoyed the short walk each morning and evening to and from the station or city centre.

This was ideally situated for walking into York and sight seeing. The room was big enough and we slept very well. The full English breakfast was included giving us a great start to the day.

The staff, particularly Caroline and Kristina, were extremely welcoming. Great location within easy walking distance to the train station and close to sites in the center of old town. One of the best of the nine places that we stayed during our trip to the UK.

Our 2nd stay at St Mary's and we loved it as much as the first! Staff friendly, breakfast delicious and cooked to order, beds comfy, room perfectly adequate for a city break. The location is great - just a 10 min pleasant stroll along the river to the city centre or similar to the station.

It was one of the most enjoyable stays I have ever had. The staff are exceptional. The room was immaculately clean, and a wonderful breakfast was served. The staff were some of the kindest, friendliest and funniest I have ever encountered. I highly, highly recommend this property.
