Good location and friendly front desk
The hotel is in the good location that you can walk to shop or restaurant. The baseball stadium is like 5 mins walk and I enjoyed the baseball game during the staying. Front desk receptionists are friendly also provide the nice service.

I loved the close proximity to my destination. They had an awesome staff that went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one, and were very helpful with my questions.

We stayed at this property for my daughter's wedding. It was a short walk to the venue. Felt very safe walking back to the hotel in the late evening, Staff was very friendly and helpful to the wedding party.

We didnt stay in the room for longer than 20 minutes. The property felt extremely unsafe. The room had pieces of the floor missing a burns in the bathroom floor.

The room was beautiful, clean and decorated classically with bronze and silver and other nice touches. Staff was on top of things. We couldnt figure out how to turn on the air so they immediately sent a maintenance person to our room. Super kind and helpful and gorgeous building.

I grew up in the area and it was nice to see Hilton did such a nice job with the renovation, and kept many of the older features that add character to this "grand dame." The staff was so nice and helpful.

When traveling to York, this is the place to stay! The hotel was renovated one year ago and is absolutely beautiful. the rooms are clean and very nice, the staff went out of their way to make our stay the best possible. The Rooftop lounge is incredible. surprising how large it was with both indoor and outdoor seating, food and bar service as well. We will definitely stay here again when we need to visit York. Surrounding the hotel, the first few blocks have some restaurants and shops. Three blocks west you'll find the Heritage trail. This recreation path is great for biking, running, walking, dogs etc. It goes for miles outside of town. The only drawback is that downtown York is still a work in progress. being out late on the street isn't the best for tourists. we had no issues.

We stayed in a suite which was fantastic. High end, clean and comfortable. We walked to Rockfish for dinner, but next time will check out the dining at the hotel. They have a bar in the lobbty. The bartender was awesome, but needed another bartender for a busy Saturday night. Bathroom and shower were great, with high end toiletry dispensers, although the hair conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty. I was waiting for York City to have a high end hotel for awhile, especiallyh because there are so many bars and restaraunts to choose from within walking distance. I would recommend staying at the Yorktowne.

Nice place in York
It was a nice experiance to stay at Yorktowne. Since it is reacently renovated it is top notch on the interior. The hotel in it self has been around for almost 100 years and they have keept a good part of the old interior too. The loby bar delivers good food

Best choice in York
Great jewel of a hotel in a small downtown. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. It maintains its historic charm while having modern updates, and mixes the two seamlessly. I'm glad I choose it and looking forward to staying there again.

After 6 years of closure and significant top to bottom renovation, this iconic York property shines bright again! Many great additions and the preservation of many classic details conjure great memories of my senior prom site as well as the scene for two of my aunts’ wedding receptions in the 1960’s & ‘70’s.

Very nice remodeled hotel which has retained many period features combined with modern upgrades. Friendly and professional staff at checkin/out. Tried to use the roof top bar but apparently being 3 minutes early meant that we could even take a seat in the large lounge until it opened so we went elsewhere. Not terribly guest friendly. Only down side to a nice visit.

Hotel is on a congested downtown street, hard to get to and driveway not well marked. ADA suitable parking very limited. One would hope an ADA room would be considerably closer to elevator. Bellman (Victor) was most helpful but other help was not available when needed.

The staff is excellent, very professional and friendly. This an old downtown hotel that has been refurbished. Unfortunately, the entrance on the street side had a low unmarked step and I tripped and fell, breaking my knee.
