"Not gonna lie, this “inn” completely deceived us. The lobby looks presentable, but once you get past that, the condition of the place is terrible.
First of all, it’s very obvious their PTAC units (the AC/heat systems in the rooms) have not been properly maintained or even had their filters cleaned. Our room smelled like dirty mop water — musty with a very strong odour. It was unbearable. The only way to make it tolerable was turning the system off completely at the thermostat. Even then, the entire room still had this lingering stench.
At night, because we couldn’t keep the air on, the room became incredibly hot and uncomfortable. We were constantly sweating. Ironically, they have air fresheners mounted throughout the hallways that are way too strong but smell decent. Unfortunately, air freshener only does so much when you can still smell the mustiness underneath it all.
On top of that, there were bleach stains all over the hallway floors. The shower had black mould in the grout, and the corners of the bathroom floor had literal piles of dirt shoved into them. Absolutely disgusting.
We had no choice but to complete our stay because we had already paid and were told the booking was “non-refundable.”
I definitely would NOT recommend this inn to anyone. Even though the place seemed fairly busy, that does not justify the condition it’s in. Like the saying goes: you pay for what you get."
