Sit in the hot tubs under the stars, swing in one of the hammocks, enjoy the fire pits, throw on some records and relax on the mesa while being close to everything. Our location gives you the best of both desert worlds: a quiet, serene escape with access to some of the best local attractions. The Hemingway House and Cryptic Cabin are a ten minute drive to The Integratron and La Copine and 20 minutes to Pioneertown and Joshua Tree National Park. The house is a very special place that is perfect to relax, reflect, connect with the beauty and magic of the high desert.

You'll have access to both houses and all 5 acres of the property during your stay. For smaller groups you can book The Hemingway House or Cryptic Cabin individually. (See our other host listings)

Other things to note

DESERT LIFE: Part of the desert's magic is the wildlife that lives there. You may see/encounter wild rabbits, coyotes, mice, beetles, snakes, and spiders. This is their natural habitat. We also have Joshua Trees and cactus on the property so please be careful near them and wear shoes while outside.

PARKING: Is available in front of both houses.

WIFI/CELL SERVICE: There is full cell service and Wifi at the property if you need to be connected.

SEWER: The house is on a septic system, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.

EVENTS, PARTIES & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS:

Not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.

Please reach out to us if you need to book the space for any of the above. We will do our best to work with you and help with local talent/vendors in the area.

QUIET HOURS: Yucca Valley is a serene place. While our neighbors aren't right on top of us, sound travels in the desert. Out of respect for them and the natural habitat, we ask that you please keep the noise level to a minimum after 10PM.

You'll have the property to your self but our management team is always around if needed.

Quiet neighborhood in the mesa in Yucca Valley. Most of our neighbors are on 2.5 to 5 acres as well. It's peaceful, quiet and calm out here.
