"요즘 숙소들은 기본 3~40하는데 20언더로 추석 연휴에 묵을 곳을 찾다가, 가성비 좋아보이는 곳으로 고기 구워먹으려고 예약했어요. 장점은 층고가 높고 넓은 것, 멋진 건축물이었구요.(마치 기생충 저택 느낌) 친절한 사장님이었습니다. 단점은 청결 및 관리 상태와 노후도었습니다. 1. 와이파이가 셋톱일체형이었는데,셋톱박스의 랜선이 빠져있어서 인터넷이 안되어서 셀프 해결했습니다. 2. 샤워실에 배수가 안되어서 원인을 분석해보니, 트랩에 머리카락이 가득했습니다. 이걸 빼니까 겨우 배수 됩니다. 3. 다른 빈 객실의 상태는 어떠할까해서 마당정도만 구경했는데, 갓 죽은 듯한 새 시체가 있었습니다. 앞선 손님이 묵었던 방 청소만 하는듯 했습니다. 종합하면, 퇴실 시 청소하시는 관리인을 보긴했는데, 청소를 너무나도 대충하는 것으로 보입니다. (인건비가 얼마일지 궁금) 멋진 건축물이 아쉬워서 솔직한 숙박후기를 남겨봅니다. 객실 리노베이션을 하셔서 단가를 좀 더 올리면 핫한 숙박 시설이...

"The hotel itself is beautiful and the facilities are nice, but the location was a major disappointment for me. I was traveling alone without a car, and the hotel was much more isolated than I had expected when I booked it. There is very little within walking distance — no convenient restaurants, convenience stores, or easy access to a beach or other places to visit. More importantly, the roads around the hotel do not have sidewalks, so I did not feel safe walking along them. The hotel staff also confirmed that walking to nearby restaurants or attractions was not recommended. As a result, I had to use Kakao Taxi every time I wanted to go anywhere, including getting back to the bus terminal. This quickly adds extra cost and makes the stay much less convenient if you do not have a car. I had originally booked two nights, but I decided to leave after only one night and return to Seoul earlier than planned. For someone with a car who is looking for a quiet and secluded place, this hotel may be a good choice. However, for a solo traveler who relies on public transportation and likes to be able to walk to restaurants, the beach, shops, or simply go for a walk, I would not recommend this location."

"We had a great stay here in the family room. Loved being right on the water with the views of ferries, fishing boats, etc. Although the boats can be a little loud when coming and going in the early hours, the room/location itself is pretty quiet. Staff were very nice and although they don't speak much English you can communicate easily using your phone's translation apps (like Papago). Cooking utensils in the room were very limited but we loved the free fresh ground espresso in the lobby and Tongyeong has many inexpensive and delicious food options. Overall, the hotel and room are somewhat aged and faded and the amenities are quite basic, but we didn't care: the bed was clean and comfortable and the location is unbeatable. For the price it was a great deal."
