「We stayed at Casa do Cedro for two nights. The accommodation was excellent, breakfast was excellent and the views and swimming pool are breathtaking. Lots of free parking on the street. We were close to Monsanto by car which was our reason to visit the area. The town is quiet, in fact you don’t see people around. The only thing to remember is that depending on your travel date there may only be few options for lunch or dinner in the area.」

「This hotel was great! While the immediate neighborhood is a little worse for wear in some ways, don’t let that put you off. This is a really nice hotel in a really nice little town. If you have time, walk across the stone arched bridge and enjoy the beautiful park on the other side. There are food stores, restaurants and everything you need - and the hotel it itself was great.」

「Great hotel, superb kitchen and facilities. The design and all decoration of the facilities is done to a high standard while respecting the old oil mill. The swimming pool and gardens are well looked after. Our room was amazing, huge and comfortable bed and great service. Only inconvenience it does not allow to flush toilet paper and there is just an ordinary bin to dispose of toilet tissue.
