Welcome to The Smore The Bearier, a one-of-a-kind 4-bedroom mountain cabin offering the perfect balance of fun, comfort, and relaxation. Located in a quiet gated community just 15 minutes from Valle Crucis and 17 minutes from downtown Boone, this retreat combines privacy with convenience.
Step inside to a spacious living room featuring multiple leather recliners, a big-screen TV, and an electric fireplace—the ideal spot for cozy evenings. The game room is a favorite hangout, complete with a TV, electric fireplace and a convertible game table that switches from air hockey to pool. A well-equipped kitchen, gas grill, and outdoor dining area make it easy to gather for meals. Allows pets with an additional fee paid after booking.
The cabin's outdoor spaces are just as inviting. A covered front porch with a swing and rocking chairs overlooks the wooded setting, while two separate fire pits with Adirondack seating—one just off the back deck and another farther up the driveway—offer plenty of room for making s'mores under the stars. After a day of mountain adventures, unwind in the private hot tub.
Sleeping arrangements include an upper-level king bedroom with ensuite, electric fireplace, vanity and desk, an upper-level bedroom with two double beds and a desk, another upper-level bedroom with a double bed, and a main-floor queen bedroom with direct access to the main-level bathroom. With TVs in every bedroom, plus the living room and game room, everyone can enjoy cable entertainment throughout. There are two double pull out sofas in the game room offering additional sleeping for additional guests.
Additional amenities include a porch swing, rocking chairs, gas grill, and reliable Wi-Fi. Two dogs are welcome with an additional fee, and winter guests should plan for AWD or 4WD access. For peace of mind, a doorbell camera and a driveway-facing garage camera are present.
Whether you're roasting marshmallows by the fire, playing a game of pool, or simply relaxing in the hot tub, The Smore The Bearier is where memories are made and mountain traditions begin.
