「The cabin was actually nicer than the pictures gave them credit for. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The bathrooms were much nicer than expected. Both the cabin and the bathrooms were very clean. The grounds around the cabin really needed a good mowing. It would have been helpful if firepit tools for moving hot logs or cleaning out old charred pieces of wood were provided. Not something we have to bring with us. 」

「My family and I are so happy we found this house for my Mom’s birthday weekend! The location is great. It’s very convenient if you like to golf, it’s in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful view. We loved the sunroom as a gathering space and had fun using the arcade games, pool, and deck. The space itself was clean and checking in was easy! Thank you for a great stay, we would happily choose to stay here again if we find ourselves back in Wabasha!」

「Great place for a private retreat in isolation - it’s at the end of a road, immediately adjacent to the WI channel of the Mississippi River. A little boat traffic and periodic train, but nothing that is disturbing. There are two separate fire pits at your disposal with plenty of firewood too! Cabin is small but perfect for 1 or 2.」

「Awesome host’s with great communication. The home is very comfortable, must be okay with stairs. Clean, great beds, open feel with good lighting and windows throughout. Love the front porch. All appliances in working order, stocked kitchen, solid internet. Just shy of a mile walk downtown or too Main Clinic buildings. Close to river walk, felt safe. Good neighborhood. 「Just keep in mind that the property is very old and so are all the appliances and furniture. When I say old, I mean clawfoot bathtub old. It’s not bad- they all seem to work fine- I just wasn’t expecting that based on the pictures. The house is also set up pretty weird and there are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Other than that, can’t complain. The place is very clean. 「We love Lake Pepin! Enjoyed pie, sailing and tubing. Location was great - quick walk to lake and pub. 5 rooms was great and teenage girl happy to have own space. Host alarm above fridge made it harder to relax but the wonderful fire pit helped. We spent 2 evenings around the fire. All of the lovely extras were great. Especially beach towels, beach toys and bag. Fun games too. Thanks Jill!」
