We do our best to help our guests with carrying their luggage if needed, though. Actually, our listing is titled by "Entire top floor". We assumed that people are aware of possible stairs, if they booked a listing offering the third floor in a family house... We would very much appreciate if you have additional suggestions on how to make this more clear to our future guests!

We regret that your mentioned concerns lead to such inferior rating of our accommodation. It is our passion to meet our guests’ expectations as we’re putting a lot of effort to fulfill each visitor’s needs which is normally much appreciated by the majority of the people who stay with us resulting in more pleasing reviews. Be reassured that we run our guesthouse in complete accordance with federal COVID regulations. We would like to remind you though, that for Swiss accommodations there is no obligation neither for hosts nor for guests to be vaccinated or tested. Besides, in most countries such as Switzerland, vaccinations for children below the age of 12 are not (yet) approved, which makes your stated requirement unfulfillable for us as a family with three underaged children. We’re cleaning and sanitizing our rental according to the official guidelines provided by the rental platform. Masks are worn where appropriate or asked and according to Swiss laws. Greeting hosts takes place outdoors where risks and requirements regarding COVID are less restrictive. We regard respecting the freedom of thought for each individual as essential. The ongoing discussions caused by opposing views about COVID and how it should be dealt with are deeply dividing our society. There are people reasonably anxious about possible risks of infections, while there are others who think today’s policies are exaggerated and doing more harm than good. We try to treat people of both point of views with respect and expect others to do so in return.

Very lovely couple. We enjoyed hosting them very much. They were calm, clean and very friendly. Indeed, this is how home renting becomes a pleasure and friendships are built across nations. Hope to see them again in the future!
