「We just wrapped up our wonderful 11-night stay at Eremo della Giubiliana near Ragusa, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We stayed in one of the cottages, which don’t receive nearly enough attention or photos in most reviews. They were spacious, beautifully appointed, and provided the ideal private retreat for our family with a toddler. Breakfast is highly underrated—guests constantly rave about it. 「This is a small place that is in different levels. The rooms are at street level, and going down is a nice terrace, where a very tasty and fresh breakfast is served. There is also a jacuzzi, and going one more floor down you reach a beautiful swimming pool. Lisa and her mom are very nice hosts that offer suggestions as to activities around town, the hotel is situated within the historic center and close to the cathedral.」

「This was a beautiful property with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms had the perfect mix of old unique architecture and modern amenities. Loved the courtyard for some peace and quiet as well as a quick dip in the pool on a hot day. The breakfast was so good, fresh made pastries and eggs and cappuccino to order. We only stayed one night, but wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore more of the city.」

「In the old town, easy to walk to attractions. Rental car’s navigation took us to a very narrow street, we should have followed the instructions from the hotel email. Hotel manager came out, sat in our car and directed us to the right place to park. 」
