「A must go midway place if you travel from Londonderry to Dublin (or vice versa). Reasonable price & good food in the bar & restaurant. If you drive there, your car can be parked next to your room, extremely convenient. 」

「We had a great time in the hotel. Absolutely no complaints. Bedroom was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Waiting staff and the breakfast need a special mention. Breakfast was served at the table and was both very tasty and very hot. I look forward to another visit 」

「Room was pleasant and all the things you need to be comfortable in dundalk. But toilet seat kept flopping down due to poor design, breakfast was pretty bang average and we had to pay 20€ for an additional hour beyond checkout time- of course rules are there but for a the discretion of a wedding party where we had spent a lot already, felt a bit petty 」

「Enjoyed our visit to the Lakeside Manor. Fine big room,lovely view and an extremely comfortable big bed! Lovely friendly staff. Food was excellent. A cosy,comfortable, reasonably priced hotel. Tea/coffee making facility.. Would have appreciated a bottle of water in the bedroom. 」

「The room was so dirty, even the towels were black. There was no way to regulate the heat and the window was sealed shut. The walls are paper thin so forget about a good nights sleep. The room smelled bad. Considering the price it is not worth it. You could get something better and cleaner in a hostel. It has to be the worat place I’ve ever stayed in 」
