Pacuare River is one of the best places to do White Water Rafting, not only in Costa Rica, but in the world. White Water Rafting, in a few words, is an extreme sport, using an inflatable raft to navigate a river. Pacuare River has different grades, AKA: Scale of River Difficulty, so even if it's your first time you'll do fine. And there's a lot of companies that do this tour, it's important to say that is a full day tour, sometimes it only takes half a day.

Although this place is very basic, with essebtially no electricity or service and we werent able to complete the second half pf our rafting due to heavy rains, wr loved this place. roof leaked. AC unit drained on the floor making the tile slippery. dogs next door (20 feet away) barked most the time. lots of ants in the unit. no microwave. water was off for most of one day.
