「The hotel closed all food and beverage service. There was a notice on their website but no notice on Expedia. The surrounding town was largely closed too, so being without food options was not acceptable.
The hotel emailed to confirm my reservation. I complained and asked for a cancellation and refund. They never answered. As the cost was prepaid, I guess I will not get my money back. Ultimately we booked into a hotel in Kirkwall.
This was a shockingly bad experience. I would urge everyone...

「Tucked away at the back of the house the glamping pod has everything you need, the owner is friendly and helpful and there if you need anything. The pod is well equipped and spotless. We loved our stay there and would recommend. 」

「From the moment I was on this property I knew this is where I was meant to be. I was only there for one night, although when I return to South Uist I will certainly stay longer. The Breakfast was outstanding, the knowledge of the area from the owner and how helpful he was, was refreshing. This property and management is a 10 out of 10 for me. See you when I return :)」
