「Property was new and very nice. There was a place to eat within walking distance that was convenient. The person who checked us in was okay, but lacked friendliness and when both the TVs in the lobby did not work, she was unhelpful and did not make any effort to resolve the issue. 」

「Very nice hotel. Breakfast was good (waffles, hot coffee, pastries, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausage and gravy). Beds and room were clean and neat. Pool was clean. No hot tub. 」

「I am from the SE Iowa area and when I come home for a visit I always stay at the Hotel Ottumwa! I've been going there for breakfast since I was a little girl. Best stay around and such a beautiful building. Staff is great and the food is amazing!」

「This was the perfect vacation spot with our 3 year old!! Everything was in one place and we didn’t need to leave. We will be back every year! I do have some suggestions for management: -it would be great to receive a handout of all of the activities available at the property. We had no idea about the beach or bike rentals! And it would be helpful to know the hours of the waterpark and restaurant. -it would be awesome if the restaurant had an option for lunch sacks to allow guests to head down...
