「The staff helped us secure the car in the nearby garage which we had to reserve in advance. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very adequate. Cappuccinos were delicious. Great location. Easy to get around.」

「Clean property, good location, very helpful staff. However, the hotel feels like it is just a place to sleep as there are no lounge areas, garden areas, other facilities. The rooms are dated and really need an upgrade to compete with the other hotels in the area. There is a nice restaurant / cafe based at the front of the hotel, but seems separately owned. The food is good and the staff helpful. You get 10% off food if you stay at the hotel which is a bonus.」

「Small room but bathroom modern and clean. Balcony overlooked the square which was busy and noisy at night but wasn’t too late and the power window shutter blocked a lot out. Breakfast was on terrace and nice. Staff were lovely. They were excellent. Station is up the hill. We took a taxi as it was too hot. Nice hotel.」

「Great for wheelchair users as the hotel has good access inside and is on relatively level ground outside. Within 10 m walk to the ferry terminal and all downtown eateries.」
