「Sea view with sliding door was fantastic. The room was quite tired looking with wallpaper peeling off the wall and old cupboards. Breakfast was lovely with great quality ingredients especially the haggis and black pudding. Staff were very friendly and chatty.」

「The hotel is very tired and needs a complete refurbishment. When I booked seven months in advance I had requested a room on the 2nd floor, partly as there is no lift, however our room allocated was on the 3rd floor with no option to change. At the time of our stay in August 2023 there is NO wifi available.」

「We enjoyed our stay. Fine landscape, and it was a short walk to the beach. The hotell room was okay, but very cold in the bathroom.」

「The food was very good and the staff excellent. Unfortunately our room was noisy because it was above the bar and banging hotel entrance doors. Thumping music does not sit welll with a hotel's function. Of providing restful accommodation.」

「We spotted the village from the road above, fishing village down a steep road, cobblestones and cottages. Gorgeous 300 year old pub on the harbour, great atmosphere, comfy bed and room, breakfast the next day was fresh and plentiful and offered with love and care. Really enjoyed it, 20 steos from the harbour so pretty to walk around.」

Nice bar where you can order your excellent home cooked evening meal. We recommend the steak pie. Bathroom mirror could have been a little bit lower for my little legs other than that no complaints .」
