“Stayed in a suite for 2 nights on a visit to see the leaves change. Overall, there were no major complaints. The property appears antique but well maintained. The suite we stayed in looked freshly renovated and was very clean and well put together. The staff were friendly and helpful. I heard that the normal rooms and rest of the property as a whole are undergoing further maintenance and renovations, so I’m excited to see it again this time next year. It’s seated right in Manchester, so……

“No staff on property. Heating unit not working. Someone texted me info to correct problem but did not work. No one offered to come look at it. It was late. When we got there window was open and was cool. Never warmed up. Television was horrible. No local channels or ESPN. ONLY ROKU streaming. PARKING WAS HORRIBLE. Not enough parking for a full house crowd. Would NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. NEVER. As far I know no staff was ever on the grounds.”

“The lodge was amazingly convenient on the main highway. Gorgeous views. Friendly staff. Robin was working and he was very professional and friendly. Only reason I would not give it five stars is that the room itself was very basic and simple. Very outdated. Reminded me of a Ramada Inn. So $350/night (off season) and the room wasn’t very nice. Also the highway in front of the lodge is very loud with nonstop loud pickup trucks and cars. I understand this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but just something……

“This was a unique experience for me. It was like having a nice room in a log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. There was good self serve beverage options available when I arrived in the late evening and breakfast the next morning had enough quality items for a gluten free person like myself. No bread or baked goods for me but nice yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee. The owner Nick……
