「The location is good. The room amenity are typical. What dissatisfied me was a $1 surcharge without a clarification. I wish there had been an explanation message. 」

「Biggest issue was lack of elevator space. People were lined up on the 5th floor longer than 10 minutes to leave in the morning waiting for an elevator. If you decided to take the stairs you ended up outside and had to walk around the building.」

「This property has existed since the 1800s. The rooms are cute and quaint, and they are very clean. There is an outdoor patio and gazebo area so you can enjoy the views of the river and the town of Galena from a peaceful perch. It is a PERFECT location for getting around. Main Street is a block away, so we walked there every day of our trip to shop and eat. The river is also a block away, so you can rent canoes/kayaks, rent bikes, walk the trails along the river, or simply sit and enjoy the...

「Great place for a weekend stay. The screened in porch was perfect in the evenings. Easy to find location and parking lot is level with the 2nd floor, so no stairs needed to access the condo. 」

「We wanted to try some place new for a romantic weekend and Farmers Guest House was perfect! Our room, The Charlotte, was warm and comfortable for relaxation. The breakfast that was made fresh every morning was by far the best we have ever had. The little extras like wine time with cheese and crackers made the weekend even better. We are already planning on going back. If I could have given this a 10 star review, I would have! You will not regret spending time at the Farmers Guest House!!」
