“Only 2 restaurants within walking distance. Fortunately one of them “ Sub station “ had really good food with lots of variety. Stayed 2 nights. Ate at SS 2 nights.”

“A very nice hotel right on the edge of Luray town. Close walking access to old town, the river walk, and the caverns. Property was in very good condition and very nicely appointed.”

It was a short drive to Mashita, where we had an excellent dinner. In the morning, we walked downstairs and had a delicious breakfast while chatting with the other guests, which was all lovely. “We chose Friendly City as a stopover driving from Boston to Atlanta and could not have been more delighted. The innkeeper was lovely, the room was very comfortable with everything you might need from hairdryer to iron and ironing board. Fresh chocolate chip cookies on arrival, great dining recommendations, and a lovely historic Inn to learn about. As we were leaving early in the morning and would not be able to stay for breakfast the Innkeeper offered to have breakfast to go for us, and it was……
