"We had such a great stay at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Lancaster while we were in town for a cheer competition. We booked knowing there was construction going on, but it honestly didn’t impact our stay at all. "Property advertised as historic and fine lodging however we were given a run down small apartment in a front house up large flight of stairs with outside broken porch stairs. Plumbing was broken and kitchenette sink bubbled up and shot up dirty waste water smelling like sewer. We did not see brown water everywhere until second night because we did not use that area until then. We heard something and smelled but didn’t find it until 2nd night. "We were welcomed with Christmas decor and a goodie bag. The space was wonderful and we wish we had more than three nights and warmer weather. My husband currently has the DigDug high score so tag me if you stay and beat it :) TVs in most of the bedrooms and basement area. This house has everything you could need to feel like home during your stay. We will come back if our son takes a Hershey contract again in the future."
