Great inn close to wonderful hiking. Staff were friendly and the food was good! Comfortable room, including the bed. Only real drawback is that is could get really warm at night.

Top notch place to stay, but what makes it special is the bucolic environment within which it sits. Drinks and dinner across the narrow road, with waiting staff navigating the occasional logging truck is not something you see everyday, made for a very memorable summer evening.

The Hafod Hotel at Devil’s Bridge is a stunning building with lovely rooms and friendly staff. The restaurant has a great variety of dishes and the place has a wonderful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be retiring next year !

I absolutely loved this hotel. The only thing was having to walk from their car park to the hotel which wasn’t very well signed but in all fairness was I could have read about this before checking in. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin bedded room with everything you needed. The beds and pillows were lush! The bathroom was fabulous but I didn’t get a chance to use the bath unfortunately! Amazing views of the valley from the hotel and right next door to devils bridge and water falls - stunning location. Thanks so much for the best stay last weekend.

Such a beautifully located, airy and relaxed hotel. The food was great, as was the service. Relaxed, but professional would be a great way to describe the Hafod. If you can stretch to it, the Pumlumon has the most incredible views across the valley (as I believe all of the front facing suites do), but the room, and especially the bed was ultra luxurious! I won't even mention the bath...... Thanks for a wonderful few days!

Great hotel with very helpful staff and beautiful views over devils bridge valley. Food was great with great choices available. Walking distance from Vale of Rheidol steam train that takes you to aberystwyth.

Lovely hotel. We ate there on both evenings as there was a comprehensive menu and a good choice of gluten free options. Our only slight negative was the walk to and from the car park with heavy suitcases.

A very nice hotel with lots of character and quirky features. It is ideally located next to the gorge walk and has a few tables outside on the pavement to make the most of the views. We had a room at the top of the hotel with a comfy large bed and lovely bathroom. The staff are young and enthusiastic but lack leadership as witnessed in the dining room. They were disorganised and seemed rather lost. The food at dinner was fairly average but perfectly acceptable.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. My partner and I stayed for our birthday (yes we have the same birthday!) and they decorated the room and left us a few freebies. Extremely kind of them!
