River access at its finest. Nearly 100 feet of Stillwater river frontage awaits our guests as they enjoy the sights and sounds of one of Montana’s finest blue ribbon trout streams. Suited for anglers, rafters, kayakers, and outdoors people this newly constructed river house has the essentials for those looking to be on the river.
Less than an hour drive from Billings, this river house is close to the town of Absarokee and within 45 minutes to Red Lodge. This spacious one level home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and generous views of the river from the master, kitchen, great room, and expansive deck.
At nearly 2000 square feet, this RRBO (River Rental by Owner) was designed for those wanting comfort, convenience, and more than a cabin on the water. Equipped with 2 queen beds and 1 King, this property can comfortably sleep 6.
The newly equipped kitchen has expansive views of the oversized island, great room with shuffleboard, and river view deck. The deck has 2 sets of seating for casual entertaining and/or dining along with a propane BBQ with kitchen pass-through window. Native stone steps descend down to the natural sand bar adjacent to the river where another outdoor adventure awaits.

Great House on the River
We loved this house! Listening to the river stream by provided a very relaxing time. House is very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We were there a week and never lacked for activities in the surrounding areas. Hosts were a delight to work with and very communicative and responsive. Will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic place on the river
This was a phenomenal place to stay, well designed house, lots of room to spread out, fantastic windows and the sound of the river puts you instantly at peace.
Great communication with owners, responding quickly to request or additional information.
Town was friendly but make sure you pay attention to when places are open it varied a lot , we enjoyed the drives to red lodge and the beartooth hwy immensely.
Great place and location was perfect for us.

Can’t beat this location!
Close to town right on the river. Wave at the rafters floating by. All your needs anticipated. Well appointed kitchen. The bedding was cozy. Will stay here again. Thank you.

Beautiful home near the river
The property is beautifully situated on the Stillwater river literally off the back yard. House is nice. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There was a bit of an ant problem didnt matter what I did they just kept coming but they didnt bite and seemed to only be in the laundry room/ kitchen. for the most part property is clean and beautiful but the drawers for utensils did have crumbs and other material in them. The fridge had some open alcohol bottles and dirty areas. We just washed everything before using it. We would stay again if we were in the area. Nice and relaxing to listen to the river and watch the deer and horses across the way.

The house sits right on the river and is just so lovely. The host is awesome! We had a small problem, he took my call at 10pm and helped us get everything fixed in a timely manner. His communication was great! I hope to stay again!
