「Stayed a couple of nights due to its convenient location. Great to have a leisure club attached. The staff were all great, the food and bar service was good. Breakfast was nice too. My wife and I did find the bed a little uncomfortable due to it being 2 single mattresses joined together so it had a ridge down the middle. If you want to use the Spa then book early. Friday evening had an amazing keyboard player entertaining in the bar providing background music which was a nice touch. 」

There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.」

「We were the only people staying in the hotel on Friday so our breakfast was prepared freshly. I don't know if they do a buffet if it's busy but I suspect not as it's a small hotel. 「The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again.」
