“Well located”

“The unit we stayed at was well kept. Feels new. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The beds were the best part, very comfortable. We had 1 full bath and 1/2 bath that were clean with tons of clean towels and quality brand Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. We will definitely book here again on our next trip to Maine. Thank you Elmwood. ”

“Bigger than expected. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Quiet property. We had the pool and sauna to ourselves. Nice to be able to make snacks and breakfast.”

“A friend and I booked this house fairly last minute for a Memorial Day trip with our kids - we’re so glad we did! The house is super clean, comfortable and well-stocked with everything from beach towels to cleaning supplies to kitchen spices, making everything so easy. We were so “busy” hanging on the deck, playing ping pong and enjoying the lake we didn’t have time to use the kayaks but it was so great that they were available. Our four kids (ages 9-14) had a blast playing on the beach, and all……

“Very nice place to stay! Staff is friendly, place is clean, quiet and affordable! The rooms also offer amenities of dishes, utensils and glasses. Also a skillet and toaster if needed. Close to the beach and downtown Ogunquit ~ really enjoyed the location!”

“We rented the house to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday with a small family vacation and it was perfect! We were able to bring my mom's dog and the four of us had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was great and is in a great location. The view is even better in person!! The only issue was that the heat was on 55 when we arrived so it took a few hours for the house to warm up - but it did no problem and the electric fireplace helped a bunch! I highly recommend staying here.”

“We had a great stay, very spacious house. Great communication with owner. Hot tub was a fun perk. Kids loved the pool table. Plenty of bedrooms and seating for meals. Close to lots of shopping and a theater.”

“We had an amazing stay. The cottage was nice and the view from the front deck was beautiful. My only criticism is They state towels provided however my husband and I were there for 10 days and there were only 4 bath towels. That is def not enough towels. If there was a washer dryer that would be fine but there is not. So we had to go and buy more towels. Other than that it was wonderful”

“The house was as pictured a family cottage by the lake. The owner was nearby and was friendly and my children had a fantastic time swimming, kayaking, and fishing. It was a nice relaxing family vacation. Would recommend the house to offers who want to just get away, relax, and unwind.”

“We enjoyed the property. Clean & nicely decorated. We were warned about the street noise & it was definitely noticeable, the white noise machine was appreciated by the couple staying in the front room. We had a bit of a hard time communicating with the property managers regarding check in time, empty propane tanks & missing toiletries. In the end they did end up providing propane, shampoo, conditioner and body wash after we asked for it. I felt the listing saying toiletries provided was……

We were able to walk to restaurants and shops, and every other convenience was a short drive away. We'll definitely stay here again.”
