The Whiteface Lodge

6/10 Okay

"We’ve stayed here many times and generally have a great stay. This stay, we opted to pay an additional $85 for a two hour late check out. From 11am- 1 pm, the front desk called to ask why we hadn’t left, we were interrupted by two different individuals on three occasions knocking on the door asking why we hadn’t left, then came back asking what time out late check out was. The room key wouldn’t work after noon. It was a huge disappointment when we wanted to enjoy a relaxing morning with no urgency."

Lake Placid Inn Boutique Hotel

"We had a wonderful stay at Lake Placid Inn Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, modern, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was also excellent, making it easy to explore Lake Placid and enjoy all the area has to offer. The only area that could use a little improvement is the breakfast. While it was good and convenient, adding a few more fresh and hot options would make the overall experience even better. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return. We highly recommend Lake Placid Inn Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting the area and looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay."

Lodge at Schroon Lake

"The place in general has amazing amenities, including a basketball court, mini golf, a game room, outdoor fire pits, live music, an indoor pool, etc. The downside of our recent day was that the beach area was not yet open for the season, even though it was already early June. So we were unable to rent kayaks and use the lake. Also, only one restaurant was open because the tavern was fully booked out by a wedding."
