「The room was clean, staff were so helpful and welcoming, great value for what I paid for room. If in the area would have no hesitation in staying there again. Highly recommended.」

「Hotel was ok, on site pub was poor」

「No lift to suites. (3 floors) honestly I was disappointed for the money spend. Chips off the sink in the Hellaby suite and lots of small things missing.」

「All was great but follow up after booking to confirm all on your booking needswas correct.」

「Everything was excellent」

「The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the room needed some TLC. 「Just needs a refresh in general a little tired .bathroom grout needs attention and the bedroom curtains had what looked like tea stains on , missing one bed side cabinet and the other had edging tape missing . For the money we paid I am not complaining, the bed and bedroom in general was loverly and clean .」

「I stay around 10 times a year. A 5 star welcome, 5 star food, 5 star service and a 5 star room. A unique old hotel with a modern, clean, tidy fresh feel. The food is amazing, locals travel here for the food. Highly recammend!」

「It’s fine for a quick stay but the basics aren’t taken care of so be prepared for some inconveniences along the way. This was my third stay and every single stay they never gave us toilet roll when it ran out. This time we went to reception to ask for some and still didn’t get given any sent to the room. The room had flies and spiders and bathroom not particularly clean. The restaurant and staff is good however- they cater well and are helpful and friendly.」
