"Cute little cottage - in a friendly village. Can recommend the Sunday lunch at Heather Glen Hotel. Nice pubs in neighbouring village of Armathwaite, plus a very accommodating shopkeeper, who went out of his way to source a lovely pork pie. Very helpful host who provided lots of useful information ..."
