“Beautiful location. Property is gorgeous. The only downfall is there's no insulation in the roof and it's a metal roof. So as a sun heats the metal it pops and makes lots of noise as well as when it cools down at night it contracts and pops and makes lots of noise so it's hard to sleep if you don't have some kind of a background noise like ocean waves or a fan. But it's still definitely worth the stay as it's gorgeous and you can hear howler monkeys.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Jardin de Poas! Our hosts, Cesar and James (and their staff) were amazing and so kind and helpful! Our cabin was great with a beautiful view! Each cabin has its own unique character and charm. The food was great too! They have done a wonderful job with the landscaping and grounds! We would definitely stay here again! ”

“Overall, we had a nice stay. The home is in a development of what look like vacation homes a mile or so outside of town. Although the development is gated, the guard wasn’t present several times and we had to open the UNLOCKED gate ourselves (not exactly secure). The home is spacious; most of the rooms are good sized. The primary bedroom on the second floor has a very nice, big balcony that looks out on the volcano; we spent a couple mornings there drinking coffee. A couple of downsides to the……
